| Spectroradiometers |
Spectroradiometers are specialised instruments for measuring the actual spectrum of UV light emitted, rather than just a total count ‘radiometer’. These have various applications in curing and medical industries where we need to distinguish the various spectra, or different wavelengths of radiation being emitted, to effect different cures, depending on the epoxies, glues, inks, etc.
Established in 1986, Solatell has build up an enviable reputation for innovation to become world leaders in designing products and developing solutions for industries that need to measure and monitor ultra violet light.
This includes applications as diverse as on-line monitoring of UV printing processes, spot checking of UV cure ovens, health and safety of solariums and fibre optics manufacture. |
| Sola-Scope 2000 |
| Flexible, sophisticated and technically superior solution for measuring UV lamps output with spectroradiometer readings. The Sola Scope accurately measures UV light in the range 235nm to 470nm with clear data on both the intensity and wavelength of the UV source. It can be used as a single key operation radiometer or as a high-powered analysis tool supporting graphical analysis. |
| Sola-Sure |
| Health & Safety solution to support the industries where the dangers of UV lamp radiation coming into contact with human skin applies. Increasingly driven by national and government regulations the Sola-Sure identifies higher energy radiation that can cause damage to humans in industrial and leisure UV applications. |
| Sola-Check |
| The ideal solution for measuring output from UV lamps with a highly sophisticated quality control tool. When used with probe locators, they provide the perfect platform to achieve simple, accurate and repeatable checking of UV lamps. This technology has particular relevance in the printing, optical fibre and coatings industries where poor lamp performance costs money. |
| Intelligent Probe |
| The Solatell probe is a specialised light guide, similar to a periscope. The probe is attached to the Sola-Sensor or Sola-Check. The instrument is then able to measure UV output in difficult to access locations. Solatell have developed a range of intelligent probes, including a thermocouple probe, that carries its own calibration data. A locator ensures that the probe is positioned accurately for repeatable results. |
| Accessories |
| There is a wide range of accessories available for the Solatell range of products. These vary from advanced PC software, through to a mini portable printer for the Sola-Check, an orange filter to cut out excess visible light or an extra manual. |
