| Enhanced Bifurcated Light Guide |
- This dual-legged liquid lightguide cost-effectively and simultaneously delivers energy to two sites using a single light source. With a higher transmission rate than fiber guides, more light energy is available for faster curing. Radiation power demultiplexing (RPD) technology provides an equal amount of light to each leg, eliminating the need to balance the lightguide. Uniform degradation of the legs extends the lifetime of the guide compared with standard bifurcated guides.
| High Power Fibre Light Guides |
- Multilegged light guides provide uniform energy to several sites simultaneously using a single light source. Fibre guides are ideal for delivery of lower wavelength light. Used with Novacure ® spot-curing systems, multilegged guides with a dedicated feedback leg enable real-time measurement of energy at the end of the light guide.

| Light Guide Retort Stand |
- The Light Guide Retort Stand lets you precisely secure your EXFO light guide for the curing process. In order to maintain a repeatable curing process, the distance between light guide and adhesive must be the same each time. The irradiance from the light guide will vary according to the inverse square of the distance between the light guide tip and the adhesive. Therefore, any change in this distance will greatly affect the amount of energy at the cure site. The Retort Stand’s movable platform allows height adjustments up to 150 mm with 1 mm graduations for precise setting.

| Cure Ring |
- Cure rings give a light guide 360º curing power. The standard ring for use with liquid-filled light guides is available in solid or slotted versions. The hinged cure ring couples to a special dual-leg fused-silica light guide. Easily open and close the spring-loaded hinged design for rapid insertion and removal of parts. Cure rings are ideal for bonding tubing, cables, catheter balloons—anything that requires uniform 360º exposure.

| Focusing Lens |
- Choose from several models to help focus and collimate the light guide's output. Expand the range of system applications, cure larger areas and adjust spot diameter from 1/2" (1.3 cm) to 3" (7.6 cm) with EXFO’s focusing lenses.
| Horseshoe Adapter |
- The Horseshoe Adapter combines cure ring and light line technology in a single unit. It couples to standard EXFO liquid-filled light guides to transform a circular spot into two uniform, opposed linear beams. The Horseshoe Adapter is ideal for applications such as arrayed waveguides, which require illumination from two sides simultaneously.
| Light Line |
- Use the Light Line to turn the light guide's spot of light into a focused, linear beam of curing energy. The Light Line efficiently cures small rows of components, inks on tubing and cable. It also performs tacking and strain relief of multistrand wiring, as well as edge bonding of flat panel displays.
